Shadow boxes are how we turn objects that don’t fit in a traditional picture frame into something you can display and enjoy every day. Instead of a flat sheet of glass sitting close to a print or photo, a shadow box has depth built into the frame, so we can arrange three-dimensional items — medals, jerseys, dolls, flags, tools, jewelry — and hold everything in place without damaging it.

Military shadow boxes are some of the most meaningful pieces we build. We mount folded flags, service medals, patches, and photos together in one frame, laid out so the story reads clearly at a glance. It’s detailed work, and we take extra care with pieces tied to someone’s service.

Sports memorabilia is another big part of what we do — signed baseballs, jerseys, tickets, and photos from a favorite game or a player’s own career. We build the mat and backing around the item’s shape so it sits securely and stays protected for years.

We also build shadow boxes for wedding keepsakes like a dress, invitation, or bouquet, baby items, fishing and hunting trophies, and one-of-a-kind collectibles like the antique Japanese kimono doll pictured on this page. Every shadow box we make uses conservation-grade materials — acid-free mats and backing, and museum glass that blocks UV light so colors and fabrics don’t fade over time. We also custom-cut the depth of the frame to fit whatever you’re framing, whether that’s a single medal or a full uniform.
