The Frame Gallery is a custom frame shop serving the San Antonio area since 1984. A framing business does not last that long on advertising. It lasts on service, quality and customers returning year after year. You will find us on the north side at 5563 De Zavala Rd, Ste 190, a few minutes from UTSA and USAA.

Custom framing is a combination of designing artwork, colors, and styles. The frame becomes part of the artwork in a beautiful blend. No picture frame shop carries as large selection as we do. We carry thousands of frame samples, including Roma and Larson-Juhl, and more than 300 mats — paper, suede, leather, linen and others. Glass matters just as much: we stock UV-filtering glass to protect against fading, non-glare UV for pieces hanging opposite a window, and museum glass, which is so clear that most people cannot tell it is there. Small framing jobs start as low as $99, and we will tell you plainly where the money makes a visible difference and where it does not.

The design consultation is free and unhurried. Our staff are friendly and helpful. Bring your keepsake in, and we will set moulding and mat corners directly against it until you can see the difference for yourself rather than imagine it. Most orders are finished within about two weeks.

We frame a wider range of work than people expect from a picture frame shop: original paintings and fine art prints, family photography, diplomas and certificates, needlework and cross-stitch, jerseys and military memorabilia in built-to-depth shadow boxes, posters, and stretched canvas. We also build custom framed mirrors and handle professional printing in house, so a photograph can be printed, matted and framed without ever leaving the building.
