Another question? Call (210) 615-8229.
How much does it cost to frame a poster in San Antonio?
Custom poster framing at The Frame Gallery starts at $99. The price depends on the size of the poster and on the frame, mat and glass you choose. Bring your poster to the shop or call (210) 615-8229 for an exact price.
What size posters do you frame?
We frame posters of every size, up to 40 x 60 inches. Common sizes include 18 x 24, 24 x 36 and 27 x 40 inches, and each custom frame is built to fit your poster.
Will a 24 x 36 poster fit in a 24 x 36 frame?
With a custom frame you do not have to guess. We build the frame to fit your poster, so it fits even when the poster is a little larger or smaller than 24 x 36 inches.
Should I dry mount my poster?
Dry mounting is your choice. We do dry mount posters, but it can lower the value of a collectable poster. Fine art prints are never dry mounted.
What glass do you use for poster framing?
You choose the glass. We carry UV-filtering glass, non-glare UV glass and museum glass, which is almost invisible.
How do you frame a signed or limited edition print?
Fine art prints are framed with archival museum mats, archival tape and museum glass. We never dry mount a fine art print.
What is the difference between acid-free mats and archival mats?
Acid-free mats are made from wood or paper pulp that is treated to remove or neutralize the acid. Archival mats, also called museum mats, are made from cotton rag or purified fibers that are free of acid and lignin, so they protect the art for much longer. We use acid-free mats for posters and archival mats for fine art prints.
How long does poster framing take?
Custom poster framing takes about two weeks. Call (210) 615-8229 if you need it by a certain date.

What a Customer Says About Our Framing
A Google review from a customer who had four prints framed at The Frame Gallery.
Just picked up my four framed prints today and was thrilled with how they turned out. Kelley did an excellent job with her recommendations and laying out the options at my disposal. Posted this Duncan one on Twitter to the artist who made it and multiple people complimented the teal frame and how it matched the background seamlessly. Will be coming back for future framing needs!
